  1. Since you are here already, we would suggest you use our online estimate request form. Please let us know how you intend to use the sign so that we can best match a product to fullfill your needs.

    Otherwise, give us a call and talk to us personally. We probably have questions to ask you about jor project.

  2. How long does it take for you to complete my order?

    Most orders take 2 to 3 days. Every product we do is custom made and Sign Magic makes a commitment to you that your order will be done on time. Some special products do require additional time however, so let us know when you need your job completed and we'll let you know if it can be done. We go to great lengths to meet our clients deadlines.

  3. What are your file format requirements?

    After 12 years, Sign Magic has an extensive list of clients. Please go to the quick reference section in Resources and Support and click on Client list.

  5. What is a "proof"?

    A proof is a way of ensuring that we have set your type accurately and that everything is positioned according to your requirements. Typically, Sign Magic will produce a proof which can be sent to you online or printed on paper and faxed to you for your review.

    On multiple color jobs, we can produce a color proof to show you an accurate representation of the final product.

  6. Why do I need to look at a proof if I've already given you everything I need to have done?

    Sign Magic goes a step above to make sure your sign meets your requirements.Your approval on the final proof is assurance that you have looked over every aspect of our work and approved it as accurate. We want to make sure that any errors are caught in the proofing process rather than after the job is completed and delivered.

  7. Do I still need to approve a proof if I bring my work in on disk?

    It may seem like a proof wouldn't be needed in this case but it really is. Sign Magic pre-flights every disk because we know that other output devices process digital information using a variety of processing languages. Your approval of the proof which we will provide assures that the output device used has correctly interpreted and processed the information you have provided.

  8. Can I install vinyl lettering and graphics myself?
  9. How do I care for and hang my banner?

    Banners can last you a long time if you care for and hang them properly. Always roll the Vinyl Letters to the Outside and the Digital Image to the Inside. NEVER FOLD A BANNER, the folds won't come out.

    Always strech a banner taut on a building, or between to permanent poles. If it can flap in the wind, it will deteriorate much quicker. To make your own posts, use 2x4's or 4x4's and put a 1x4(the length of the banner)across the top of the posts. This will keep the banner form sagging.

  10. How do I care for my magnetic signs?

    First of all, make sure your vehicle isn't plastic. Always clean the area first and never go over mouldings. Periodically wash and dry the back and front of the magnetic to remove any dust, dirt or oily residue. Always store flat or rolled up neatly(with the image out).

  11. How do I know when getting quotes that I'm comparing apples to apples?

    By making sure the substrate material, vinyl quality, size and quantities are the same. There are endless varieties of vinyls available and not all perform the same way. There are substrate materials that should not be used outdoors, because of color or durability. And, there are sign companies that won't be around next year to stand behind the quality of their product.
